Funerals set for three teens killed in southeast Minnesota crash

The Lewiston-Altura school district has canceled classes Tuesday and Wednesday so students and staff can attend the funerals of three teenage girls killed in a pickup rollover in southeastern Minnesota.

LEWISTON, Minn. (AP) — The Lewiston-Altura school district has canceled classes Tuesday and Wednesday so students and staff can attend the funerals of three teenage girls killed in a pickup rollover in southeastern Minnesota.

The district also has called off after-school activities until Thursday.

Friday's crash killed 14-year-old Katie Lee Hornberg, 13-year-old Morgan Elizabeth Zeller and 16-year-old Shauna Marie Ruhoff.

Twelve-year-old Cydney Maker of Lewiston was severely injured in the crash. She was flown to a hospital in Wisconsin, and her condition was upgraded over the weekend from critical to serious.
