The Superior Central All Class Reunion, to be held Aug. 3-4, has reached more than 500 registrations, and they are still coming in.

Since the letters were slow to arrive at their destination, the All Class Committee is extending the deadline. Anyone who went to Central high or junior high is welcome. If you have not received the registration form, call Marlene at (715) 399-8152, or e-mail casebratpack@aol.com to receive one.

The All Class Committee meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday at C’s Restaurant at 5 p.m. The group has had many registrations returned unable to deliver. They could use the help of the various classes in finding those lost classmates. Attend the meeting to see if you can help with addresses.

Many activities are being planned for the August celebrations. Two bands have been reserved. One will be playing the first evening when an informal gathering of all Centralites will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, while the second will play for the buffet banquet the closing evening of the reunion.

Leo Ellison has agreed to lead the choir once again in singing some of the old Central songs. Many have indicated their desire to join in this activity, but more are needed, especially local folks who will be able to spend a few days before the reunion practicing these songs. If you did not sign up previously, reconsider, and call to do so. Everyone who participated in 2004 were pleased that they did.

Personal photographs, newspaper articles, scrapbooks, journals or artifacts will be displayed at the reunion. If alumni have any to share, they should call memorabilia chair Ron Cain at (715) 392-8985. He will return the items following the reunion if the alum wishes, or donate them to the Douglas County Historical Society after the reunion.
