Community dinner
Each Sunday at 4 p.m., a free dinner is hosted by a different church in Superior.
This Sunday, it will be hosted by the United Presbyterian Church, 229 N. 28th St.
The dinner is open to anyone in the community who is looking for good food and good fellowship. The menu for this week is chicken casserole, salad, homemade pickled beets, dessert and beverages.
Faith United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti dinner 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for children 6-10, children younger than 5 eat free.
There will also be a bake sale. Tickets may be purchased from the church office 394-9608 or at the door. Take-outs are available.

Taste of Spring
Tickets will be on sale soon for St Anthony Altar Society’s “Taste of Spring,” an afternoon of food, fashion and more, which takes place May 1.
More than 25 exhibitors – from crafts, jewelry, makeup and design – are highlight. Fashions from Zoe’s of Cloquet, Dress Barn, Coldwater Creek, Sara Bellas, Chicos, Younkers and more are featured.
There will be a silent auction, door prizes and special awards including “Woman of the Year.” Admission is $20.
The event will be held at the beautiful, air-conditioned St. Anthony center, 11648 E County Road B, Lake Nebagamon. For more information, and to reserve your tickets, call (715) 374-3570.
