UW-Stout student hit by car dies of injuries

EAU CLAIRE (AP) — A University of Wisconsin-Stout student struck by a car on campus nearly two weeks ago has died of his injuries.

The university says 24-year-old Michael Dixon of McGregor, Minn., died Tuesday night at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

Police say Dixon was crossing a street near Price Commons March 12 when he was hit by a car driven by another student. Dixon was a senior majoring in business administration.
