In June 2010, 55 members of the Northwestern High School Choir will participate in an extended concert tour of Hollywood, Calif. They will seem significant sites including the Hollywood sign, the walk of fame, Rodeo Drive, Mann’s Chinese Theatre. In addition they are scheduled to perform at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, at Disneyland and a Universal Studios.
In order to make the tour a success, the students need your financial support. The costs of offering extraordinary musical experiences like this continue to mount and include airline fees, hotel prices, meals and transportation within the city. We have come up with a way to give your business major advertising while allowing you to donate to this worthy cause.
The Northwestern High School Choir is sponsoring a Hollywood bowl (Bowling Event) to be held at Landmark Lanes, 1914 Broadway Ave., Superior on Sunday, April 18 beginning at 1 p.m. With the support and help from businesses and individuals, we will be able to meet the goals for the concert tour of Hollywood. Please make a pledge for a lane sponsorship for the event. You can send a check for the sponsorship to: Northwestern High School Choir, c/o Hollywood Bowl, P.O. Box 218, Maple, Wis. 54854.
Donations will be listed as follows: $150 or more, Academy Award Sponsor; $100, Walk of Fame Sponsor; $50, Red Carpet Sponsor; $25, Hollywood Studios Sponsor.
If you would like to donate any items for our silent auction that day or for special prizes planned, those will be accepted. Family members or business associates can enjoy an afternoon of bowling and help a worthy cause for just $25 per person. Space is limited and the first 12 teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
