David B. McGinnis

David B. McGinnis, 58, lifelong Superior resident died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

He was born in Superior on March 5, 1951, to James and Doris (Phillips) McGinnis.

He was a major equipment salesman for Upper Lakes Foods for many years.

David is survived by three brothers, Thomas (Debbie), Michael (Sandra) and James McGinnis, all of Superior; sister, Nancy (John) Larson, Bloomington, Minn.; his significant other, Debbie; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He will be missed as a partner in cards.

Visitation is 5 until the 7 p.m. memorial service Monday, March 8 in Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Ave., Superior. Rev. Fr. Don Kania of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church officiating.
