Mariners’ service
The annual Mariners’ Sunday Worship Service and Brunch Reception begins at 10 a.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St. A free-will offering is accepted for the Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers. Join the congregation to honor and support the men and women who work on the Great Lakes.
Mid-week services
Faith Building Psalms at Lenten Wednesday Mid-Week services begin 6:30 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Free Lutheran Church, 2125 Missouri Ave. “My Favorite Psalm” is shared by a member each week for inspiration and encouragement.
Women of faith
The Catholic Daughters host an evening of reflection Tuesday at Cathedral of Christ the King. Mass with Fr. Andy Ricci at 5:30 p.m. is followed by a catered meal and program. Make reservations with Gert Kolanczyk.
Women’s ministries day begins at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hawthorne Assembly of God Church. A fellowship lunch is shared at noon. Projects include sewing and tying quilts for high school graduates, greeting card awards for children in the Philippines or bring your own project. This is a cookie bake and exchange day. Bring your favorite recipe already baked or make them at the church.
Men of faith
King’s Men meet at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St. This month’s speaker is Steve Nelson, athletic director for the University of Wisconsin-Superior. A free will offering is accepted for the meal and the morning concludes no later than 7:30 a.m. Call ahead at 392-4731 or drop-in.
Living Faith International Church hosts Dr. Mark T. Barclay at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Barclay is anointed with an accurate prophetic ministry. Call (218) 624-7717.
