Holck, Conner named Student Rotarians
Carly Connor and Dylan Holck, seniors at Superior High School, have been selected as Student Rotarian for the month of February by the Superior Rotary Club.
Carly Connor and Dylan Holck, seniors at Superior High School, have been selected as Student Rotarian for the month of February by the Superior Rotary Club.
Connor is the senior captain of the Spartan Girls Tennis Team as well as senior captain of the Spartan Dance Team. She is also a member of the Interact Club, a Rotary sponsored club for high school students. Following High School graduation, Connor plans to attend St. Cloud State University to study Business Merchandising. She is the daughter of Patty and Bruce Connor.
Holck is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as the organization’s president. He participates in the Harvard Model United Nations program and is a member of the Spartan Choir. In addition, he is the captain of the Spartan Boys Varsity Swim Team and manages the Spartan Girls Swim Team. Next fall, Holck plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study Political Science and International Relations. He is the son of Kelly Holck.
During the school year, Student Rotarians attend Rotary Club meetings and provide club members with opportunities to learn about high school programs and activities as well as the accomplishments and concerns of Superior youth. Each year the Superior Rotary Club awards two scholarships to students graduating from Superior High School. Information is available from school counselors.
