Aker-Fechtelkotter

Beth Marie Aker of Superior and Cody John Fechtelkotter of Lake Nebagamon were married in front of their friends and family on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Faith United Methodist Church in Superior. A reception followed at the Greysolon Plaza Ballroom in Duluth.

Beth’s parents are Ray and Marsha Moe of Superior and the late Mark Aker. Cody’s parents are John and Sherry Fechtelkotter of Lake Nebagamon.

Beth had her mother, Marsha, stand by her side as her “MOH” and honor attendant. Her bridesmaids were Clarissa Wangerin, Amy Spiering, Dorie Aker, Jamie Cook, Carly Rubenzer, Jenni Gallagher and Holly Bounting. Cody had his friend, Ryan Scherz, stand by his side as his best man. His groomsmen were Kiel Fechtelkotter, Greg Aker, Pat Cook, Luke Jipson, Cal Bartol and Derek Botten.

The couple currently resides in Ames, Iowa, where Beth is a special education teacher for the Ballard School District and Cody is a school psychologist for Heartland AEA 11.
