Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland elects new officers
At the annual meeting of The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland, the board of directors elected the 2010 officers. Mike Dosan, senior project manager pre-construction services, Kraus-Anderson Construction, was elected president.
At the annual meeting of The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland, the board of directors elected the 2010 officers. Mike Dosan, senior project manager pre-construction services, Kraus-Anderson Construction, was elected president. Dosan has served on the board of directors since 2003, most recently as vice president. He has also served on the club’s property management, human resources, resource development and special events committees.
Shawn Reed, attorney, Maki & Overom, Charted, was elected vice president. Reed has served on the board of directors since 2006, most recently as secretary. He has also served on the club’s human resources, resource development and finance committees.
Roger Waller, retired Duluth chief of police, was elected secretary. Waller was elected to the board in 2006. He currently chairs the Lincoln Park School Branch Task Force and has served on the club’s program, human resources and resource development committees.
Kelly Sager, financial/compliance officer, Western National Bank, was elected treasurer. She was elected to the board in 2008 and serves on the club’s marketing committee.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland serves more than 1,400 members and more than 1,000 guest visitors ages 6-18 at one location in Superior and five branch locations in Minnesota including: Lincoln Park School, Lincoln Park Teen Center, Dave Goldberg Family Branch, Lake Vermillion and Nett Lake.
