Savanna participates in SHS danceline, Pledgemakers, and tennis, and serves as the boys’ baseball manager. Outside of school, she is employed and volunteers as an assistant dance teacher, with dance competitions, and at Grandma’s Marathon. Savanna plans to attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth to take classes in business and Spanish.
Kelsey participates in SHS danceline and Pledgemakers. She is involved with the Douglas County Youth Leadership program. In addition to being employed, she volunteers with her church and as an assistant dance teacher for pre-schoolers. After high school, Kelsey would like to attend college in the area until she has made a decision on her career goals.
The students have been joining the Optimist Club for weekly luncheon meetings. They will have the opportunity next fall to apply for a $1000 community service award sponsored by the club.
