PHILLIPS — A man accused of hitting and killing a snowmobiler in Price County has been charged with a felony.
Twenty-six-year-old Joseph Weiher from Park Falls faces one count of homicide by negligent operation of vehicle.
The Department of Natural Resources says Weiher is accused of striking 27-year-old Samuel Klein of Park Falls after he fell off his snowmobile on Pike Lake. The DNR says speed and alcohol were a factor. WEAU-TV says Weiher will be back in court on Jan. 26.
