The season opens with “Never Kiss a Naughty Nanny,” a comedy/farce needing two women and four to five men. It runs May 26-June 5.
“Ramona Quimby” takes the stage June 16-26. The comedy needs a cast of four to six children (ages 10-14), four women, and three men. Ramona Quimby is unpredictable, independent, boisterous and exasperating.
“Mame” is the musical that runs July 7-July 17. After young Patrick Dennis’s parents die, his nanny Agnes Gooch, brings him to live with his last living relative, Aunt Mame, a wild, flamboyant, party gal, and she and Patrick hit it off immediately. There are numerous male and female roles of various ages as well as chorus singers and dancers.
The comedy “Greetings!” will be the fourth play of the 2010 season. Andy has a sweet Catholic mother, a sour Catholic father and a disabled brother named Mickey. When he announces his engagement to a Jewish atheist and brings her home to meet the family on Christmas Eve, his worst fears about family are realized in a stunning, touching and joyful way. The cast needs two women and three men to be performed July 28-Aug. 7.
“Golf, The Musical,” a fast-paced, tune-filled off-Broadway hit, closes the season Aug. 18-28. One woman and three men are needed in the hilarious skits, witty songs, and a putting competition to bring audience fun to players and non-players alike.
