Superior: Kiwanis meets at noon at Aces on 29th. The speaker will be Jack Byrd from the Shriners.

Superior: Chapter E, PEO Sisterhood meets at 7 p.m. at the home of Julie Ford. The program will be “Founders’ Day.” Hostesses include Ford, Mary Jo Bartylla and Myrtle Rogina.

Duluth: The comedian Gallagher is coming to Grandma’s Sports Garden at 8 p.m. with his famous Sledg-o-Matic. Tickets are $15.

Friday

Superior: The Animal Rescue Federation hosts a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Metro Credit Union, 25 Belknap St. Along with baked goods, cookbooks, memberships and volunteer information will be available.

Superior: Grandmothers for Peace rallies 4-5 p.m. at the corner of Broadway Street and Hammond Avenue.

Saturday

Cable: In preparation for winter tracking season, stop by the Cable Natural History Museum any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to see mammal furs from the museum’s collection. Create your own track booklet using rubber stamps and recycled paper. Open to all ages; adult supervision required.
