Men’s breakfast

King’s Men meet at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St. Each month the group meets for breakfast, fellowship and a presentation. Douglas County District Attorney Dan Blank is this month’s speaker.

A free will offering is accepted for the meal and the morning will be complete no later than 7:30 a.m. All men of the community are invited. Call ahead at 392-4731 if possible, but drop-ins are always welcome.

Senior fellowship

The Senior Adult Fellowship at Bayside Baptist Church, 3915 N. 16th St., meets at 11 a.m. Jan. 15. The program, entitled “Food for the Soul,” features special speaker Delores Staurseth. The luncheon menu includes a soup and bread bar with dessert. A free will offering will be taken to cover expenses.
