Superior gymnasts to host second home meet of season today

The Superior High School gymnastics team traveled to Ashland High School for a meet with the Oredockers Tuesday. Ashland finished with a team score of 137.45, while the Spartans had 117.95 points.

Freshman Jessica Engstrom was the top individual gymnast for the Superior. She finished in fourth place overall with an all-around score of 32.20.

Superior hosts its second home meet of the season today at the Twin Ports Gymnastics Center. Competition begins at 6 p.m. with St. Croix Falls.
