Police: Altoona woman was murdered

ALTOONA, Wis. (AP) — Police say a 43-year-old woman who went missing for several days in western Wisconsin was murdered.

Altoona Police Officer Scott Kelley says Theresa Lynn Still, of Altoona, died of "complex homicidal violence."

Still was last seen Sunday evening at an Altoona tavern. Her car was found early Wednesday morning in a store parking lot in Eau Claire. Her clothed body was found late Wednesday afternoon in rural Adams County.

Kelley says they are still reviewing surveillance video from the store's parking lot. Authorities also searched her house and at least two vehicles Friday.

Police have no suspects, but a 44-year-old man is considered a person of interest. He is cooperating with investigators.
