The Superior High School gymnastics team began its season Dec. 5 at a meet in Wisconsin Rapids with six other teams.
Teams competing were Eau Claire Memorial/North, River Falls, Superior, West Bend East and West Bend West, SPASH, Wisconsin Rapids and GET/MM/CFC.
River Falls finished first with 137.475 points. Superior had a score of 104.497.
The Spartans host their first home meet of the season at Twin Ports Gymnastics Center at 6 p.m. today.
The meet with Rice Lake and Grantsburg is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Superior is also at Chippewa Falls at 11 a.m. Saturday.
