Stack, Felton named student Optimists

Alicia Stack and Levi Felton, juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Optimist Club Youth Optimists for the month of November.

Alicia Stack and Levi Felton, juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Optimist Club Youth Optimists for the month of November.

Alicia participates in SHS soccer and tennis and is a member of the Student Council and member/secretary of the Key Club. She is enrolled in confirmation classes at Cathedral church, is involved with the Youth Leadership program, and is a member of the National Honor Society. After high school, Alicia would like to attend college to pursue a career in the medical field.

Levi participates in SHS cross country and track and is a member of the Student Council and the National Honor Society. He is enrolled in confirmation classes at Cathedral, is working toward his Eagle Scout rank, is involved with the Youth Leadership program, and is a youth representative on the Douglas County Board. Levi would like to attend college for a career in engineering after high school.

The students have been joining the Optimist Club for weekly luncheon meetings. They will have the opportunity next fall to apply for a $1000 community service award sponsored by the club.
