Auditions for ‘Trial by Jury’ begin

Rubber Chicken Theater holds auditions for its February production of the Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera “Trial by Jury” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at United Baptist Christian Church, 830 E. First St., Duluth.

There are roles for wide variety of men and women, and everyone is encouraged to audition. Previous acting and singing experience is helpful but not necessary. Performers are asked to bring in a prepared song if possible. Piano accompaniment provided.

The show is directed by Chris Nollet and Jill Hoffman, original members who have been bringing Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas to life since 2001.
