Jon Neimi and Dennis Lamkin are opening their beautifully decorated home for public tours to benefit Fairlawn Mansion.

The tour at 21 N. 21st St., Duluth, will feature a series of seven themed trees ranging from Victorian to contemporary. The home itself has been featured on the television show “If Walls Could Talk”, and in multiple area magazines.

Niemi has designed the seven trees using his extensive personal collection of Christmas ornaments from all over the world. The living room mantel features an outstanding Charles Dickens village.

Guests will enjoy cider and shortbread cookies. The cookies are made from Laura Congdon’s personal recipe.

All of the proceeds from the tours will be used to help purchase and care for period furnishings for the Fairlawn Mansion & Museum.

Tours run 6-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 and available at the door.

Guests will be asked to remove their shoes at the door but are welcome to bring slippers.

For information, call Fairlawn at (715) 394-5712.
