Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at the corner of Franklin and George streets in Iron River hosts its annual Cookie Walk and Lefse Sale 9 a.m. to noon in the church’s Fellowship Hall. An assortment of Christmas cookies will be available for shoppers to purchase by the pound. Rounds of freshly-made lefse will be sold by the package. Other items for sale include craft items, the church’s cookbook, Rada cutlery, greeting cards, napkins and “white elephant” items. The event is sponsored by the women’s association, WELCA.
St. Michael Altar & Rosary Society holds its annual Christmas Cookie Walk, Craft Sale and Raffle fundraiser 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the St. Michael Parish Hall, 68105 S. The Pilgrim Choir presents Saint Saens’ Christmas Oratorio at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church, 2310 E. Fourth St., Duluth. The oratorio presents the Christmas story with soloists taking turns representing different characters and the chorus representing the multitude of angels singing to the glory of the Lord.
Duluth Gospel Tabernacle presents a night of Christmas music at 6 p.m. Dec. 20. The evening features Christmas music from the church orchestra, adult choir, Praise Kids and other musicians.
