Duluth: Students at the College of St. Scholastica conduct a bone marrow donor drive 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Union on campus. The public can participate. Registration requires filling out a form and a cheek swab. The form and tissue typing are entered into the national registry. The free campus tradition offers indoor and outdoor activities for all ages including choirs, photos with Santa Claus, horse-drawn carriage rides, giant inflatable games, a Storybook Village, caricature artists and more. Superior: The Superior Singers perform a holiday concert “Shine On!” at 6:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 320 N. 28th St. E. Additional concert dates include 7 p.m. Friday at Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Ave., and at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Mariner Mall. Free.

Hibbing: “Raw Mosaics,” a showing of experimental mosaics by Nancy Miller, opens at Amelia’s Restaurant 7-10 p.m. Free wine and cheese, and music by “Cosmic Pit Orchestra.” The artwork will remain at Amelia’s, 2601 First Ave., until Jan. 2.

Duluth: The UMD theater department presents the family friendly Commedia delle’Arte play “Sausage!” on the mainstage theater at the Marshall Performing Arts Center. The play begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The Sunday performance is ASL interpreted. Cost $17 for adults, $13 for seniors and students, $8 for children, $6 for UMD students. Ashland: Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency board of directors meets at 10 a.m. at the new NWCSA Office, 623 E. 2nd Ave., formerly the Calvary Church.

Superior: The Eagles Auxiliary hosts a fish fry from 4-8 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 1710 N. 12th St. Cost is $7. Other items, including dessert and coffee, will be available. Proceeds go to our local charities. Open to the public.

Cable: Youth meet at the Cable Natural History Museum 4:30-5:30 p.m. to snowshoe and look for animal tracks and signs. Adult supervision not required for children older than 6 years of age. Cloquet: Churchill Elementary parent and staff member Loel Seboe will sleep overnight on the school playground as Santa beginning at 5 p.m. During that time, he will be accepting monetary donations for the playground as well as food, new unwrapped gifts and winter wear donations for the Salvation Army.
