John Lawien, Karen Finseth and Sister Barbara Ann Vierzba, OSB, were elected vice-chairperson, treasurer and secretary, respectively. Lawien serves as senior vice president at RBC Wealth Management; Finseth is a trust officer at U.S. Bank; and Sister Barbara Ann serves as sub-prioress at the St. Scholastica Monastery in Duluth.
BHC also welcomes the following new board members: Greg Wegler, director of business development for Krause Anderson Construction; Sister Theresa Spinler, OSB, and Sister Maria Volk, OSB, both of the St. Scholastica Monastery. They join current board members Angela Hauger, College of St. Scholastica (CSS) gerontology professor; Siobhan McMahon, CSS nursing professor; Pat Mullen, vice president of marketing and public affairs, Minnesota Power; and Chris Russ, regional operations administrator, SMDC Health System.
