Thanksgiving meal

Safe Harbor Fellowship, 632 Grand Ave., hosts a Thanksgiving dinner after the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. From 11:30 to 11:50 a.m., songs and testimonies can be heard as food preparation is completed, and the meal is served at 11:50 a.m. Lend a hand by bringing a salad or dessert.

Thanksgiving services

Two churches team up to offer a community Thanksgiving service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Country Peace Presbyterian Church on County Road A. The event is open to all, and will be led by Rev. Richard Blood, pastor at Country Peace, and Rev. Mark Holmes, pastor of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church. A combined choir will be singing during the service led by Cheri Tesarek. There will be fellowship after the service with coffee and refreshments. All monetary donations go to the food shelf.

A community Thanksgiving service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hawthorne Assembly of God. It’s a time of giving thanks and praise to God, music, testimonies, fellowship and refreshments. Everyone is welcome. Call the church for information 374-3444.

Christ Lutheran Church in Superior invites all to participate in giving thanks to God for His many blessings during a Thanksgiving Eve service beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Heritage week

Our Redeemer’s Free Lutheran Church will observe Nov. 22-29 as Christian Heritage Week and National Bible Week. Our Redeemer’s Sunday Education Adventure in the Bible will be at 9:30 a.m. with praise and worship at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 2125 Missouri Ave. in the Billings Park area. All are welcome. Adequate parking provided.
