Saturday, Ashland: The Northern Waters Library Service Board of Trustees will meet at noon at NWLS Headquarters.

Monday, Solon Springs: A regular school board meeting for the School District of Solon Springs takes place at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Ashland: There will be a joint meeting of the NWWIB, Inc. Strategic Direction & Development Committee and the NWWIB, Inc. One Stop Operator Committee at 10 a.m. at theNWCEP, Inc. Administrative office located at 422 3rd Street West.

Tuesday, Superior: A committee update of the City of Superior All Hazards Mitigation Plan will take place at 9 a.m. in room 300 of the Government Center.

Tuesday, Superior: Norrona Lodge 27, Sons of Norway, will meet for a breakfast meeting at 9:30 a.m. at Barker’s Island Restaurant.

Tuesday, Superior: The Catholic Daughters will meet at Holy Assumption Church at 2 p.m. The program will be Kathi Madsen for the United Way. There will be a collection for nonperishable food items for the food shelf.

Tuesday, Superior: Chapter AD of the P.E.O. will meet at 6 p.m. at the home of Jean Till. Gwen Theien will be the assisting hostess. The program will be on current health concerns.

Wednesday, Superior: Lake Superior Area National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) will meet at noon at the Upper Deck Restaurant for a no-host luncheon and meeting. President Gerald Chamberland will conduct the meeting.

Wednesday, Superior: The Highway Traffic Safety Commission will meet at 2 p.m. in the Emergency Operation Center in the basement of the Government Center.

Wednesday, Superior: The Superior Public Library Board Finance Committee meets at 3 p.m. in the board room of the library, 1530 Tower Ave. A Superior Public Library Board meeting follows at 4 p.m. in the board room.
