Karla had her fourth transplant this year. Shortly after recovering from the last surgery, she became ill with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). She was hospitalized again and a coma was induced to aid her recovery. She is now receiving ongoing treatment for skin cancer caused by anti-rejection drugs. Jim retired from his job as a social worker to care for her.

Later, he began a new job, but was unable to work because of low energy. He was then diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He started receiving chemotherapy in Duluth, but his initial bone marrow tests showed no improvement. He has since transferred to Minneapolis for more extensive treatment.

The cost for adults $9 and children 6 to 12, $5, and children 5 and under free. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.We will also be selling Raffle tickets for some wonderful items.
