Three injured in car-semi collision
Three people were injured, one seriously, when an eastbound automobile crossed the centerline and struck a westbound semi truck and trailer, according to a news release issued by the Superior Police Department.

Superior police, fire and Gold Cross ambulance was called to the scene at 3:18 p.m. Monday on 18th Avenue East about one-quarter mile east of Bardon Avenue.
Three of the four passengers in the car were transported from the scene by Gold Cross. Two of the passengers appeared to have minor injuries; the third appeared more seriously injured, according to police.
The driver of the semi truck was not injured but the vehicle sustained heavy damage.
The passenger vehicle was totaled and both were removed from the scene by tow trucks.
The names of the people involved were not released.
