Brooke Beeksma of Hayward, daughter of Kurt and Barb Beeksma of Ashland, plans to exchange vows Oct. 24 with Brian Trettin of Ashland. Trettin is the son of William and Joni Trettin of Superior.
The couple plans to marry at Presbyterian Congregational Church in Ashland, with a reception to follow at the Bad River Lodge and Casino, Odanah.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Ashland High School and 2008 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth where she earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education, health, and psychology. She is employed by the School District of Hayward as a high school physical education and health teacher.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Superior High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2006. He is employed by the School District of Ashland as a high school physical education and health teacher.
