Northlanders fill firefighters' boots
Firefighters fundraiser nets more in 2009
The Fill the Boot fundraiser wrapped Friday evening with the Duluth/Superior firefighters raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Over the three-day effort Superior firefighters raised $21,000 and Duluth firefighters raised $32,000 for a total of $53,000.
In 2008, the Twin Ports gave a total of $40,000.
