Wednesday's races canceled at Superior Speedway
Racing resumes July 10 with Russ Laursen Classic
The special mid-week races scheduled for Wednesday night at the Superior Speedway were canceled.
“Due to the threatening weather conditions, cold winds and chance for rain, we had to make the tough decision to cancel our racing,” said Butch Erickson, Superior Speedway promoter.
Racing resumes Friday, July 10 with the Russ Laursen Classic. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
All race fans with Lake Nebagamon, Solon Springs and Canadian addresses on their driver’s license at the July 10 event will get free grandstand admission.
“We appreciate that these good folks visit our track week after week to watch Northland racing at its best,” Erickson said.
