Udeen, Krause selected May Optimists
Tylor Udeen and Catie Krause, both juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Noon Optimist Club Junior Optimists for the month of May.
Tylor Udeen and Catie Krause, both juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Noon Optimist Club Junior Optimists for the month of May.
Tylor is a member of the National Honor Society and participates in SHS track and field, Garden Club, Gay-Straight Alliance, and Pledgemakers. She is a member of the Bayside Baptist Youth Group, performs with Superior Singers, and works at Superior Trap and Gun Club. Following high school, Tylor is considering a career in engineering.
Catie is an honor roll student and is involved with SHS forensics, pep band and Pledgemakers. She is a Girl Scout, volunteers at SMDC, serves at her church, and works at Superior Trap and Gun Club. Catie would like to advance her education focusing on a career in the medical field.
The students have been joining the Optimist Club for weekly luncheon meetings.
They will have the opportunity next fall to apply for a $1,000 community service award sponsored by the club.
