Ken Lindberg cleans his horses in an unusual place.

    SELF SERVE — Ken Lindberg, of Lakefield, Minn., sprays down Tommy, a Belgian horse, at the Belknap Car Wash in Superior on Thursday afternoon. Lindberg, who owns Top Hat Carriage Service in Duluth, says the horses enjoy getting the massage that the pressure washer dishes out. “The (water) temp is perfect for them too, it can’t be too hot or it ruins the wax on cars,” laughs Lindberg.
