Tiger baseball team routs Rails

The Northwestern Tigers baseball team improved to 5-11 with a 13-3 six-inning win over the Spooner Rails Thursday evening in Oulu.

Donnie Hissa was the winning pitcher, allowing seven hits with eight strikeouts.

Mike Lindsey led the Tigers with two doubles and a single, Kyle Standen singled twice and scored three runs and Sam Schiff doubled, singled and scored twice.

The Tigers are at Barron Monday and Hayward Tuesday. Both games are at 4:30 p.m.
