Budding (for Mom)

It is good for the eyes

To be filled by dandelions

Good for the lungs the uncut grass

The push mown grass the dirt

driveways

After a night rain the worm hills

The robin’s dart the rain

Evaporating from the grass the

sharp stems

Softened by what opens

Everywhere
