A 3-year-old boy was transported to a Duluth hospital Saturday after being struck by a vehicle in Superior.
Superior firefighters were called to Northland Chevrolet, 1420 Ogden Ave., at about 5:20 p.m. after the boy was struck in the parking lot. He was out from under the vehicle by the time fire crews arrived.
“He was alert enough that he was crying but definitely had some scrapes and bruises and other injuries,” Capt. Lindzi Campbell said.
The boy was transported by ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth in stable condition. Further information on the circumstances of the accident were not immediately available Saturday evening.
