RELIGION: Take time to pray together

This past week we observed the National Day of Prayer and it was a wonderful event. It was great to see Christians from different denominations gathering together for prayer.

I look at events like this and wonder why we don’t do it more often. Why does it take a national observance for us to get together? Shouldn’t this be something we do on a regular basis? Many, including myself, would love to see this community transformed by the love of Christ. What do we need to do to see that happen? We can only do two things: pray and tell others about His great love. Prayer is crucial. All our attempts are in vain if God is not behind them. So, I guess I’m advocating more times of prayer together on behalf of our community. Write me an e-mail if you’re interested.
