Thanks to a cell of higher air pressure, a lot of sunshine should make it to the Northland today. We’re all looking for a mostly sunny sky in our forecast with a range of high temperatures from 60-65, which is pretty close to normal for this time of year.
The high pressure will bleed into Monday, so the start of the work week should be similar to the end of the weekend. By Tuesday, though, a trough of lower air pressure will breeze in to thicken up the clouds and create a 30 percent chance for rain showers.
Wednesday will go back the other way as barometer readings rise again. Wednesday and Thursday should be sunny, but another round of rain is possible for Friday and Saturday. The odds in favor of that happening are already running between 50-60 percent.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with high 60 and low 46
Monday: Mostly sunny with high 68 and low 48
Tuesday: Partly sunny with 30% rain chance with high 67 and low 48
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with high 67 and low 50
Thursday: Partly cloudy with high 68 and low 52
