Betty Jane Vennerstrom

Betty Jane Vennerstrom, 77, Lake Nebagamon, passed away Monday, April 1, 2008, at her home.

The location for an 11 a.m. Celebration of Life service on Saturday has been changed from Grace Baptist Church in Iron River to the Iron River Community Center, where visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tom Blomberg and co-officiant Pastor Joe Brygger will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake Nebagamon Cemetery.

Betty’s survivors include her husband, Ernest Vennerstrom, Lake Nebagamon; three children, Mary Ann (Lawrence) Lanhart, Hibbing, Minn., David (Steph) Vennerstrom, St. Paul, and Karen (Dr. Michael) Lawler, Lake Nebagamon; two brothers, Dick (Joy) Westlund, Ashland, and Gordy (Lea) Westlund, Superior; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny, in 1984.
