Life in Iraq focus of program

“Voices From Iraq” is presented at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Peace Church, 1111 N. 11th Ave. E., Duluth.
Speakers are Sami Rasouli, a resident of Najaf, Iraq, Murhtadah, an exchange student from Baghdad and Michelle Naar Obed of the Christian Peacemaker Teams in Iraq. Each describes their experiences and perceptions of life in Iraq followed by a discussion with the audience.
The presentation is sponsored by Loaves & Fishes, the Center for Just Living at St. Scholastica and the Northland Anti-War Coalition.
Earlier in the day, Sami Rasouli gives a presentation on his native country of Iraq and the effects of the invasion and occupation at noon at the Center for Just Living in Tower Hall at the College of St Scholastica, Duluth.
