Josephine Sznaider

Josephine Sznaider, 100, Superior, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, in the Golden Living Center, Superior.

She was born Feb. 19, 1907, in Superior, to Jeremiah and Mary (DeParto) Lauzon.

She was employed as a beautician at the former Stack Brothers Department Store for many years.

She married Edward Sznaider on Oct. 20, 1927.

Josephine is survived by one brother-in-law, Isadore (Ann) Sznaider, Iron River; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 13 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. James Tobolski will be celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
