Kenneth James Magnuson

Kenneth James Magnuson, 75, Brule, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospice.

He is survived by his wife, Laila; a brother, John “Bud” (Shirlie) Magnuson, Brule; son-in-law, Michael Jahn, Maple; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; granddaughter, Melissa (Ryan) Haworth, Hawthorne; grandson, Matthew Jahn, Maple; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Brady, and step-great-grandchildren, Michael and Emily, all of Hawthorne; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Susanne Lyn (Magnuson) Jahn, on Aug. 5, 2007.

Visitation will be Friday, 4-7 p.m. in the Brule Presbyterian Church with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues Saturday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at the Brule Presbyterian Church. Pastor Deborah Bartelt will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in the spring.

Memorials may be made to the Brule Presbyterian Church, the American Cancer Society or the Head of the Lakes Organ Transplant Support Group.
