2 teens hurt when car hits snowplow in Bayfield County

Two Ashland area teens were hospitalized Friday when their car struck a snowplow in Bayfield County.

Two Ashland area teens were hospitalized Friday when their car struck a snowplow in Bayfield County.

The sheriff’s office reports that Iriana Balbian, 18, lost control of her car, which then struck a county snowplow on State Highway 13 west of west Old County Highway K, township of Russell. Balbian and her passenger, Anya Janssen, 19, were taken to Memorial Medical Center in Ashland.

The sheriff’s office reports their condition was not available Monday.
