College men's basketball: Platteville rallies to beat UWS

Wisconsin-Platteville overcame a nine-point first-half deficit Saturday afternoon to beat Wisconsin-Superior 76-67 in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Mortorelli Gym.

Platteville (12-6 overall, 5-4 WIAC) was led by 22 points from Chas Cross. Platteville trailed 38-29 at half and outscored UWS 47-29 in the second half. The Yellowjackets (7-11, 3-6) led 55-53 with 9:10 to play before being outscored 11-1 the next four minutes.

Jarrod Peterson had 15 points for UWS, Brendan Bauer added 14 and Trent Davis 10. Bauer also had eight rebounds. The Yellowjackets have lost three of the last four games.
