College women's basketball: UWS wins fifth straight
Connie Urmanski and Hillary Peterson each scored 16 points to lead Wisconsin-Superior to a fifth straight win Saturday afternoon in defeating Wisconsin-Platteville 65-59 in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Mortorelli Gym.

The Yellowjackets (15-3 overall, 7-2 WIAC) are 11-1 the past 12 games.
Kristen Nett and Sally Linzmeier each added 12 points for the Yellowjackets, who led 25-23 at the half. Nett also had six rebounds.
Claire Poad’s 11 points led Platteville (5-13, 1-8).
