The Alzheimer’s Association holds its 22nd annual state conference on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders May 4-6 at the Wyndham Milwaukee Airport Hotel and Convention Center in Milwaukee.
The conference features over 900 health care professionals, family care partners and others involved in Alzheimer’s disease care. Participants can learn about the latest in disease management and preventive therapies, research and care management for Alzheimer’s disease. The 2008 conference theme is “The Way of the Future: Creativity – Environment – Cultural Diversity.”
The conference offers 40 informational and skill-building workshops in eight different tracks, including new initiatives and research, family issues, activity programming, non-Alzheimer’s dementia, behaviors, ethical issues and care practices.
