Sally Linzmeier overcame a tough shooting night to score 18 points in leading Wisconsin-Superior to a 71-64 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory at Wisconsin-Platteville on Saturday before 694 fans at Bo Ryan Court.

Kristen Nett added 14 points and six rebounds as the Yellowjackets (11-3 overall, 4-2 WIAC) are just two wins from equaling the most in program history for a single season. UWS shot 44.8 percent for the game, including 57.7 percent in the second half.

Elizabeth Lawinger had 22 points and four assists to lead the Pioneers (5-10, 1-5), who stayed closed by making 17 of 19 free throws.
