SHS falls at home to Silver Bay

The Superior High School girls hockey team got two goals from Ashlee Olson but it wasn’t enough as the Spartans fell to Silver Bay 5-2 Thursday night at the Superior Ice Arena.

Superior, 5-12-1 overall, also got assists from Amanda LeBard and Cassie Berg on Olson’s first goal and 40 saves from Janine Seifert.

The Spartans host Ashland at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
