COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL: Yellowjackets top Oles

Each member of Wisconsin-Superior’s starting five scored in double figures to lead the Yellowjackets to a 74-65 victory over St. Olaf (Northfield, Minn.) Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Wisconsin-Eau Claire Holiday Classic.

Jarrod Peterson led the UWS scorers with 17 points and was followed by Bronson Byrne (16), Brendan Bauer (12), Johnquez Brooks (11) and Trent Davis (10).

Sterling Nielsen paced the Oles with 16 points.

St. Olaf (3-5) enjoyed a 37-35 halftime lead, but UWS (4-8) claimed a 39-28 second-half advantage.
