College men's basketball: UWS falls to La Crosse

Luke Tweed’s game-high 20 points paced Wisconsin-La Crosse to a 69-58 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win over host Wisconsin-Superior Saturday night.

The Eagles (7-1 overall, 2-1 WIAC) led 31-27 at halftime and outscored the Yellowjackets 38-31 in the second half. Bronson Byrne led UWS (2-6, 0-3) with 16 points, while Brendan Bauer and Jarrod Peterson chipped in 12 and 11, respectively.
